Uniform Manufacturer & Supplier for Canada

Bulk orders for uniform manufacturing in Canada face many supply issues. This is a country that spans six time zones, so matching the preferred requirement on time is challenging.

Shri Hosiery is a 40-year legacy uniform manufacturer and supplier in Canada that caters to all time zones' fabric requirements. We have been delivering across industries, like healthcare, education, manufacturing, construction, and more. Also, our fabric is very comfortable for long working hours, according to any industry standards.

Industries We Serve Across Canada

Canada's workforce is broad and demanding. The industries driving bulk uniform manufacturing here are among the most compliance-intensive in the world. Here is how our supply maps to the sectors where Canadian organizations actually need us:

Healthcare - Hospital Uniforms, Scrubs & Medical Wear

Canada's healthcare system operates through large provincial health authorities, hospital networks, long-term care facilities, and community health organizations, each with its own procurement cycles, department colour-coding systems, and volume requirements. The demand for hospital uniforms and medical workwear is continuous and considerable.

  • Hospital scrubs

  • Lab coats and doctor coats

  • Nursing and allied health uniforms

  • Long-term care and support worker uniforms

  • Pharmacy and diagnostic centre workwear

Industrial Uniforms for High-Risk Environments

Alberta's energy sector alone employs tens of thousands of workers who require workwear that meets specific flame-resistance and arc-flash protection standards. The same applies to downstream refining, midstream pipeline operations, and upstream drilling; each environment has a defined risk profile that the uniform must address.

  • Flame-Resistant (FR) coveralls and shirts

  • Hi-visibility workwear

  • Arc-rated (AR) clothing

  • Oilfield and rig worker sets

Factory Workwear and Underground Uniforms

Our factory workwear and mining uniform supply for Canada includes heavy-duty coveralls, reinforced work trousers, thermal base layers, FR-rated mining shirts, and hi-vis outerwear appropriate for both surface and underground environments. For mining clients, we also supply branded collar shirts and administrative uniforms for site office staff.

Site Workwear for Canadian Projects

Construction is one of the largest employers in Canada, with major infrastructure projects running year-round in even the harshest climates. A general contractor running a project in Winnipeg in January needs a very different workwear specification than a site crew in Vancouver in July, and both need to meet Ontario's, BC's, or Manitoba's respective OH&S requirements for visibility and protective clothing.

  • Hi-visibility vests, jackets, and full suits

  • Heavy-duty work trousers and cargo pants

  • Work shirts and polos

  • Insulated outerwear

  • Coveralls and boiler suits

School Uniforms in Canada

The school uniform landscape in Canada is split between private schools with established and often traditional dress codes, Catholic school boards that maintain uniform programmes across large numbers of schools, and a growing segment of public schools adopting optional or required uniform policies. Our school uniform supply for Canada covers:

  • Formal uniform sets

  • PE and sports uniforms

  • Administrative and staff uniforms

  • Winter-ready uniform components

Business and Office Corporate Uniforms

Canada's corporate sector spans financial services in Toronto, technology firms in Vancouver and Waterloo, government agencies in Ottawa, and resource companies in Calgary and Edmonton. Our corporate uniform manufacturers' supply for Canada includes formal shirts and blouses, tailored trousers, branded polo shirts, coordinated blazers, reception and front-of-house uniforms, and retail staff wear.

Canadian Safety and Compliance Standards

We manufacture FR garments to NFPA 2112 and CAN/CGSB-155.20 standards. Our units can produce FR coveralls, FR shirts, and FR trousers as individual pieces or as coordinated sets. Arc-rated options are available for electrical workers. When ordering FR or AR garments, please specify the applicable standard and required protection level. We will confirm the production specification in writing before proceeding.

We produce to a standard Canadian/North American sizing chart (XS through 5XL for adults, with children's sizing for school orders) and can produce custom size charts if your workforce skews significantly outside standard distributions. We recommend providing a size-run breakdown for large orders.

Pre-production sampling takes 7 to 14 working days. Bulk production following sample approval runs 21 to 45 working days, depending on order volume and product complexity. Safety-critical garments (FR, AR, hi-vis compliant) may carry slightly longer production windows due to fabric sourcing and compliance verification.
